☆ I have the nose that makes me look my best☆My nose is the aesthetic standard☆The owner of a perfect nose is me.☆ I have the nose that makes me look
my best☆My nose is the aesthetic standard

Through research,we found that videos about women's appearance had a much higher viewership than average video,so we started  exploring the reason behind it and its relationship with females’ appearance anxiety and their ideal self-image in the context of social media.

According to some sub users, visualisation shortens the process of manifestation considerably, because the listener doesn’t actually hear what the affirmation is when listening to the sub, and the video title will just say something about the general theme. The reason that they don’t know what the affirmation is exactly talking about is the maker cut merely all the frequency and only  keep the high frequency of the affirmation and combine them with background music.

Compared to visual, we found that sound/audio is more ambiguous, distorted, indirect, more open to interpretation than the  objective and rational, and it calls on the mental and imagination to perceive what we cannot. So we try to do lots of experiment  and use multiple ways and medium to indirectly emphasise the “hidden” or “subliminal”.So what makes it paradoxical is that while  we choose to use sound and hearing to change our own appearance, we still have to help ourselves change through imagined  visuals. Such a transformation from visual triggered anxiety, through sound, and back to  visual, was  interesting to us.

We have chosen affirmations and imagery related to the nose to simulate in a  paradoxical and amusing way how subliminal  music “psychologically-photoshopped”  the nose.

To reflect this medical aesthetic trend of "musical plastic surgery" and the commercialisation of subliminal music, we created a    medical aesthetic record label  called "subeauty", which is currently releasing its first album entitled "Perfect Nose". The album    contains a record, notes before listening to the music and a fold-out of the lyrics with affirmations.

We also project the video generated by the subliminal sound visualisation onto  face to achieve the effect of music  surgery.
